    DEX Agent logo

DEX Agent is an intelligent communication agent developed by DataInbox as part of the DataInbox runtime infrastructure for enterprise messaging and autonomous business communication. By interacting with DEX Agent, accessing its endpoints, or enabling it inside a DataInbox workspace, you agree to these Terms of Use.

    1. Purpose of Service

DEX Agent enables automated communication workflows across messaging channels including RCS, chat, voice, API events, and AI-driven enterprise interactions. It is designed to communicate, orchestrate, and act on behalf of authorized business operators within governed boundaries defined in the DataInbox runtime.

    2. Authorized Usage

DEX Agent may only be used for lawful business communication, workflow automation, customer interaction, and enterprise-approved messaging use cases. You are responsible for ensuring that every message, workflow, and integration you configure complies with applicable laws, telecom regulations, and the acceptable use policies of the underlying carriers and channel providers (for example RCS Business Messaging, SMS aggregators, voice carriers, and chat platforms).

    3. Data Processing

Messages exchanged with DEX Agent may be processed, validated, routed, classified, and stored within the DataInbox infrastructure to enable secure business workflows and operational continuity. Processing happens within the deterministic policy boundary of DataInbox: language models may propose responses or routing, but every action is enforced by auditable rules and recorded in an immutable audit log. Personal data is handled in accordance with the DataInbox Privacy Notice and applicable data protection law, including GDPR where relevant.

    4. Privacy and Security

DataInbox applies enterprise-grade security, validation, and governance mechanisms, including transport encryption, encryption at rest, role-based access control, SSO and SCIM where enabled, and tenant isolation. Users must not transmit unlawful, malicious, defamatory, infringing, or unauthorized content through the service, and must not attempt to bypass policies, rate limits, or consent requirements applied to a channel.

    5. Service Availability

DEX Agent operates as a programmable enterprise communication service. Availability, routing behavior, latency, supported channels, language models, and connected providers may evolve as integrations and services are updated. DataInbox aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation outside of an executed service agreement. Planned changes that affect behavior will be communicated through standard product channels.

    6. Responsible Use

You may not use DEX Agent for spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, fraudulent activity, phishing, harassment, disinformation, unauthorized automation, scraping, harmful messaging, or any activity that violates applicable laws, carrier rules, or third-party platform policies. You must obtain and maintain valid recipient consent where required, honor opt-outs, and provide clear sender identification on regulated channels.

    7. Human Oversight and AI Disclosure

DEX Agent is an AI-powered agent. Where required by law (including the EU AI Act and consumer protection rules), you must clearly disclose to end users that they are interacting with an automated system and provide a reasonable path to human assistance. DataInbox provides controls for approval workflows, escalation, and audit, but the obligation to configure and operate them responsibly rests with the deploying organization.

    8. Intellectual Property and Platform Ownership

DEX Agent is proprietary technology operated by DataInbox and forms part of the broader DataInbox intelligent messaging infrastructure. All rights, title, and interest in DEX Agent, its models, prompts, orchestration logic, and the DataInbox platform remain with DataInbox and its licensors. You retain ownership of your content and your configurations.

    9. Third-Party Services

DEX Agent integrates with third-party providers (messaging carriers, model providers, CRM and helpdesk systems, and other connectors). Use of those providers is also subject to their own terms. DataInbox is not responsible for third-party outages, pricing, or policy changes, and may substitute providers to maintain service quality.

    10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataInbox is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from the use of DEX Agent. Specific liability terms, indemnities, and warranties, where any apply, are set out in the master service agreement signed between DataInbox and the customer.

    11. Termination

DataInbox may suspend or terminate access to DEX Agent if these Terms or any executed agreement are breached, if usage threatens the integrity, security, or reputation of the service, or if required by law or a third-party provider. Upon termination, you must stop using DEX Agent and remove any references that imply an active integration.

    12. Changes

DataInbox reserves the right to modify these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the DataInbox website or in-product notifications. Continued use of DEX Agent after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

    13. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the DataInbox entity providing the service to you, as identified in your service agreement or order form. Questions about these Terms can be directed to DataInbox.

These Terms are provided in plain English and do not replace any negotiated master service agreement, data processing agreement, or order form executed with DataInbox.
